Thursday, I met up with Marte at BYU during a class break. Since I was a little early, I parked in 30 minute parking by the museum and walked around campus a little t remember old times. Above is a photo of the wilk and the library.
Above a plaque from the building I spent most of my time at.Marte suggested we go to Maestros, even though she wasnt aware I had just been looking for Alex there two nights before.
In we walked, and who did I find??? Alex!!! I had not seen him for so long! Marte and Alex discovered they had a German class together five years ago so I guess we were all old friends. . .
Chris made us some Belgium street waffles to sample, since they will be serving them soon.
They were excellent and so very close to the real street waffles I will actually be eating in Brusslls next week.
We talked about food, business ideas. It was like old times. I really have missed Alex, even though I didnt know it. We used to run around all the time (9 or 10 years ago) trying to start an internet show starring a big gord named Gord and creating an internet site called the F show where anyone can post their videos (sound familiar? It was just like YOU Tube but Before You Tube). Ideas can work, if you just follow through with it.
Just looke at Alex and Maestros and Chris' belgium street waffles.
