Above, Classic photo of my niece Melissa. Below, Half Way to Christmas party celebrated with a 4 layer lemon cake. . .it was intense to eat and fun to make.

What better way to celebrate Christmas than a big snow storm and a near death experience. Alma and Yvette were driving to choir on a sunday morning and almost fell off the cliff of their drive way.

luckily there was a tow truck who had just finished towing a car out of a rivine at the bottom of the street who were happy to help out.

They had to leverage the tow chord around that tree in the middle to drag it over away from the cliff

Very creative and very successful

But now we are all wondering what it was like for that car to slide off the edge of the rivine into the river below. . .now THAT would have been a real adventure.

A little trip to Nashville for some Christmas concerts and visiting an old friend. Above the Gran Ol Opry. . .it was pretty awesome because Gillian Welch, David Rawlings, and Emmylou Harris were performing.

Silversun Pickups
Below, on December 23rd and back in Utah, I drove with Shanna and her daughter Sophie to see some Christmas lights.

No photos of Christmas itself but we all had a jolly old time.
